Experience Devotional Joy
At Ram Kripalu Dham, festivals are not mere social rituals; they are deep spiritual opportunities. Each event is celebrated in its authentic form with hours of ecstatic chanting (sankirtan), discourses explaining scriptural context, temple decorations, and delicious vegetarian feast prasadam.
Holi: The Colors of Divine Love
Holi is the celebration of supreme devotional joy. We commemorate the divine pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna playing with water colors in Vrindavan. Devotees participate in a colorful flower-petal holi, followed by throwing organic powder colors amidst thousands of voices chanting devotional songs.
Guru Poornima: Honoring the Spiritual Master
A highly sacred day dedicated to expressing gratitude to the Guru, who guides the soul out of darkness into divine light. We offer worship, listen to special archives of Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj's discourses, and engage in reflective meditations.
Shree Krishna Janmashtami
Commemorating the descent of Lord Krishna. The celebration runs overnight, featuring continuous name chanting, depiction of baby Krishna's pastimes, bathing ceremony of Laddu Gopal (Abhishek), and a grand midnight celebration marking his appearance.
Radhashtami: Supreme Divine Mother Descent
The appearance day of Shri Radha Rani, the supreme deity of pure devotion. Because Radha Rani is the source of Krishna's happiness, this is the most joyfully celebrated day at the ashram. It features ecstatic dancing, flower-petal Abhishek, and distribution of special sweets.
